Mentaur Learning Center holds summer camps for children who are preparing to start kindergarten in the fall. Our programs concentrate on early reading and math skills sprinkled with a healthy dose of fun, with an eye towards alleviating the anxiety a student may have about starting school.
Kindergarten - 2nd
Mentaur Learning has full curricula to address the needs of early elementary school students. Utilizing diagnostic assessments and other tools, we identify the areas of need for students and make sure all the gaps are filled in that may be keeping a student from learning. During the formative years is when it is so important for students to grasp the basics of phonics, reading and arithmetic. Learning the rules of the subjects and memorization are necessary if a student is going to be successful at grasping higher level thinking processes as they progress.
